Also to meet the local and national needs of professional and service institutions.

Mission

To develop an optimal academic environment aims to students’ enhancement. To equip them for leadership and creativity, to broaden their knowledge of computer and information technology, and to provide authentic research basis that serves local, regional and society needs.

Objectives

• To provide scientific and practical training in computer science and technology through advanced specialist courses.
• To the capabilities and skills of students required in computer science field.
• To strengthen and improve the institutional capacity for the human being element of different roles, to be valuable in an integrated system of the quality of technical and professional services.
• To develop academic standards for educational programs to teaching science and computer techniques, as appropriate to the nature of Sudanese society and to meet the national requirements and criteria for high-level leadership in the field of education.
• To improve and develop education and learning systems by creating an educational environment that achieves creativity and improves the quality and efficiency of the teaching and learning process.
• To raise the efficiency of scientific research and development of its resources, adapting scientific research strategy to meet the needs of the community and achieving the highest standards and criteria of global academic research, adhering strictly to the ethical values of scientific research.
