Vision

The vision of Nursing Sciences at El Imam Elmahdi University adopts an effective educational program that keeps pace with the continuous development of information, skills and behaviors needed to graduate nursing frameworks that is capable of competing at the national and regional level. The college looks forward to become a privileged centre for improved performance, education and continuous training of the nursing workforce.

Mission

The mission of the Faculty of Nursing Sciences at ElImam Elmahdi University is to graduate nursing frameworks that are capable of providing quality nursing service, curative and rehabilitative care, and carrying out nursing researches focused at solving health problems of the community.

Objectives

1. To qualify nurses scientifically and practically to be able to provide integrated nursing services in a high level of quality to the individual, family and society.
2. To instill and develop the spirit of healthcare and to take responsibility for the performance of nursing tasks while adhering to the ethics, etiquette and behavior of the profession.
3. To prepare specialized studies in various nursing branches to qualify educational teaching staff members and nursing specialists for health facilities.
4. To develop and promote scientific researches of health problems in general and nursing problems in particular for the development and advancement of the profession.
5. To cooperate with the other faculties of nursing sciences locally and regionally and to establish regional and global relations with counterparts colleges and related institutions.
