About Department
The Department of Islamic Studies is a literary department that seeks to be in the same category as its counterparts in quality and excellence by 2022.
Vision:
To graduate a student who is able to carry the message of Islam and call for it. Also, to graduate an educator who is well capable of rehabilitation of a good generation for Muslims and others.
Mission:
To prepare teachers who are capable of meeting the needs of local, regional and global community. Also, to create a viable generation that is aware of the realities of Islam, strengths and challenges facing the Islamic Ummah. Lastly, to acknowledge the educational curriculums that help to create a good and humanitarian generation.
Department Objectives
1. The student must be able to recite Quran correctly.
2. The student must be acknowledgeable with the Islamic sciences such as Creed, Fiqh “Islamic Jurisprudence”, Sunnah, interpretation, and other disciplines.
3. The student must see the embody of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to Islam through the study of the prophetic biography and to highlight the ideological, moral and legal aspects of it, etc.
4. The student must stand up to the doctrines that have arisen in the history of Muslims, and to study their beliefs and ideas and the reasons that led to their emergence.
5. Inculcating and developing the spirit of diligence in students in order to learn about the rule of Allah in the accruing incidents.
