About Department
This department was established in 2007 during the time of establishment of the faculty. Four batches were graduated so far.

Department Objectives
Vision:
The graduate of the department of business administration at El-imam El-Mahdi university will be the most widely accepted in different recruiters within and outside the state and at the national and regional level.
Mission:
The bachelor of business administration program seeks to provide learning and professional environment with high quality which attracts academic competences to qualify distinctive cadres follow the university values and encourage knowledge and administrative skills which enable them to compete in labor market and contribute in community development at local and regional levels.
Objectives:
- Strengthen partnership which means the work to build and establishing partnerships with multiple views which include prestigious universities in public and private sectors in addition to employment in companies and public institutions.
- Strengthen values and administrative skills: acquiring administrative, knowing, technical skills which make student more capable of dealing with the reality of the work professionally.
- Bridge the gap between the theoretical and practical side: the department of business administration responses to the labor market needs, so in terms of the practical (applied) side it strengthens the theoretical sides and offers the student the chance to test what he has learnt in the theoretical study and apply it practically.
- Strengthen teaching process: that can be done through making sure of the learning environment and the level of equipments, training teaching staff members and qualifying the curricula and teaching plans to realize quality standards and academic accreditation.
- Strengthen the department reputation: this will be achieved through community serving, sponsoring conferences and participating in administrative specialized associations. The department can build a good reputation which adds to it and its staff (professors, graduates, and students) a prominent position among other faculties which serves the message and the vision of the department at the end.
- Strengthen the graduates’ relationships: building a good relationship with graduates to provide a chance for the department to evaluate them through the department outcomes in order to support graduates and make usefulness from their scientific and practical experiences.
Degrees
The department grants a bachelor degree in eight semesters (four academic years) and an honor degree in ten semesters (five academic years)
