Preachers Center at University of El Imam El Mahdi in cooperation with the Advice Body in Khartoum organized the First Scientific Forum at the Judicial Hall in Kosti, 01/12/2018. The forum represents the following Quran verse (and let there be arising from you a nation inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful). It took place in the presence of Dabo Alqasim, Ibrahim Al Mahdi, rector representative, representatives of the Board of Directors in Khartoum, a number of scholars and advocates in the state, deans of Colleges, heads of departments and centers and academic staff members at the university.

The forum discussed three scientific papers; the first paper entitled “Insight in the Invitation to God” while the second paper was entitled “Contentedness Terms and Concepts” and the third paper entitled “The Morals and Behavior of a Preacher”. Head of the Center for Preachers at University of El Imam El Mahdi, Dr. Aljak Al Nor AlSheikh has initially established the center to achieve activation of the Muslims role and aware the society about religion matters and principles by organizing such events for scholars and scientists. The Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Ali Issa Jogan extended his appreciation to preachers for thier role towards the state community. He added that the deanship of Scientific Research is highly concern about the centre and it will be supporting all its activities and programs in and out the state.

Representative of the Advice Body, Dr. Al Rasheed Al Tayeb clarified that the Advice Body is a voluntary body that provides advice and consultancy to the ruler and convict. Advice Body is also concern about the concept “Hisba” contentedness; it seeks to spread the culture of contentedness in such meetings, publishing through media outlets and social media and holding smart partnerships with institutions and universities such as the partnership with University of El Imam El Mahdi through the Center of Preachers.

Rector representitive, Dr. Abu Al Qasim Ibrahim Al Mahdi confirmed the university's interest and sponsorship for all activities of the Preachers Center. He then extended his appreciation to the role of the center towards the society in which it connected the university with advocates and authority in the state. Dr. Abu Al Qasim finally concluded that, today, the center is taking the right steps towards reforming the society through the partnership with the Advice Body in Khartoum for the benefit of the community.
