Vision

The Department of Foreign Relations aspires to serve and meet the needs of the human being and to strengthen the links between the university and its internal and external stakeholders.

Mission

The Department seeks to promote a university-related community of international life and to enable the exchange of experiences and cultures between El Imam Elmahdi University, International and local universities, and other institutions.

Objectives

1. To achieve the vision and mission of the university to become a global university in all areas of education and research through the Department of Foreign Relations.
2. To sign conventions, memorandums of understanding and agreements of mutual cooperation between the University and other institutions at the local and international level.
3. To plan to the extension of cooperation links and open international, regional and local channels for exchange of experiences.
4. To supervise external events and conferences organized by the University at the local and international levels.
5. To publicize the role of university and its academic and research mission in serving society and citizens at the national level in terms of academic disciplines and the university's vision for foreign relations.
6. To support the university in the development of a database on external cooperation.
7. To promote opportunities for the participation of the university's scientific and administrative staff and students in events and activities organized by international organizations, authorities and universities in order to raise the level of participants and to impart new expertise and skills.
