Through its continuous educational awareness programs and its active role in educating community members within the White Nile State, the Faculty of Community Development at University of El Imam El Mahdi arranged an educational caravan to Alkunooz village and surrounding villages in the Locality of Algutaina. This convoy targeted some of the vulnerable groups of society who haven’t had the opportunity in education, such as the Hausa community which has recently become an essential social group in the community.

The faculty believes that education is the only process through which the individual can be mentally developed. It also provides the financial and psychological conditions that help the individual physically, mentally, morally and spiritually progresses, which consequently leads to achieving a developed community that work on the development of the country.
