المستخلص:

   يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة واقع استخدام أعضاء هيئة التدريس للإنترنت بكليتي الطبّ والعلوم الصَّحّية والآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بجامعة الإمام المهدي، وأيضا إبراز أهمّ المجالات التي تمكن الباحثين من أعضاء هيئة التدريس الاستفادة منها تأتي أهمية البحث على اعتبار أنَّ البحث العلمي في الجامعات والمعاهد ومراكز البحوث الركيزة الأساسية والعمود الفقري لها،  كما أن البحث مطلب أساسي للتميز في حقل من حقول المعرفة  المتخصصة في مجالات العلوم المختلفة،  لذا تتمثل أهمية هذا البحث في الكشف عن واقع هذا الدور وإلى أي مدي يستفيد أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليتي الطبّ والعلوم الصَّحّية والآداب والعلوم الإنسانية من الإنترنت.  اتبع البحث المنهج الوثائقي والتاريخي والمنهج الوصفي بشقيه المسحي ودراسة الحالة.  تمثلت أهم النتائج في أن أغلب أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليتي الطبّ والعلوم الصحية والآداب والعلوم الإنسانية يستخدمون الإنترنت بصورة دائمة لا سيما في كلية الطبّ في المجالات التطبيقية  وفي نشر وتصفح المعلومات في المواد التي يقومون بتدريسها.  أهمّ التوصيات ضرورة توسعة وربط كافة أقسام كلية الطبّ والعلوم الصّحّية والآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بالإنترنت.

Abstract:

    The aim of this study is to explore the reality of internet use among faculty members of Colleges of Medicine and Arts and Humanities at El-mam El-Mahdi University, and to highlight the most important fields where the researchers among the faculty members can avail themselves of it. The significance of this research emanates from the fact that academic research represents the backbone of universities, institutes and research centers. It is, also an essential requirement   of excellent in any specialized field of knowledge. Therefore, the significance of this study rests on revealing this role and the extent to which faculty members in the aforementioned colleges benefit from the internet. The research adopted the historical, documentary and descriptive approach with its both types; the survey and the case study. The most important of this research is that faculty members of Colleges of Medicine and Arts and Humanities, constantly, use the internet, especially, the College of Medicine faculty members in applied area, publication and perusal of the information related to subjects that they teach. The most important recommendation is that it necessary to expand internet connections in all the departments of these colleges.
