Abstract

The study aimed to analysis the impact of prices fluctuation on sesame crop production and yield in the Sudan .collected the secondary data for study variables prices from the annual reports of the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economy (a time series),areas, yield, production from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture(a time series), The study was depended on descriptive, analytical and econometrical methods, The results of the study revealed that there is fluctuation on sesame price in escalated trend, fluctuation in areas and production and yield, relationship between price and areas positive ,whereas relationship between price and production and yield negative, height of total production costs about(70.9%) caused in backdown to production , height of net return about(405.6%) caused in augment of price, The study recommended that these were a necessity to continuance in sesame cultivate with focus on yield bettered and rationalization costs especially harvesting, support the production inputs, adoption price policies support the compete sesame globally to coverage deficit in balance of payments.
