Abstract

This study aims to clarify the concepts of the ethical system and its role in the stability of the individual and society, in addition to the linguistic concepts upon which the Western and Islamic ethical systems are built, and their characteristics. The research aims to highlight the interest of Islamic society in ethics throughout its contemporary history. The methodology of the study is The applied inductive research comprised three sections, each containing three subsections, as follows: The moral system and its characteristics: the concept of ethics in Islam and in secular systems; the characteristics of Islamic ethics; the moral standard in Islam and the source of moral obligation in secular systems; and applied models in Ethics from the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions. An introduction to Islamic systems, including: the definition of systems and their types; the importance of systems in human life; and the objectives of Islamic systems. Among the most important conclusions: Ethics in Islam refers to those principles based on piety towards God, the Creator of this universe. The Muslim community is a moral community, meaning that relationships Its moral and social aspects are based on primary bonds. For Aristotle, Plato, and those who agreed with them, ethics do not extend beyond the realm of happiness, inner peace, and individual joy. As for the recommendations: Attention should be given to Islamic ethics. The topics of da'wah (Islamic propagation) and the importance of considering the ethical aspect for both the individual and society are crucial. Further research and field studies are needed on Islamic ethical systems to understand their impact on calling people to God.
