Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of e-government in supporting public relations (PR) strategies within Sudanese government institutions, with a focused case study on the Ministry of Culture and Information. The research examines the available digital tools and technologies within PR departments and explores how these resources are utilized to build a distinctive digital identity that enhances operational efficiency and internal communication. Furthermore, the study investigates the extent to which these technologies align with communication strategies to embed digital identity as part of the ministry's organizational culture. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach using field survey methods. Data were collected through official sources and reports from the Ministry of Culture and Information. The research focused on assessing the ministry's digital readiness, IT infrastructure, computing environment, and the availability of training programs for PR professionals. It also analyzes the internal communication models and the integration of digital technologies in daily operations
