The Deanship of Scientific Research held its regular Scientific Research Forum entitled Investment in White Nile State: Opportunities and Challenges

The Deanship of Scientific Research at El Imam El Mahdi University organized its periodic Scientific Research Forum under the title "Investment in White Nile State: Opportunities and Challenges." The forum was held under the patronage of the University's Director, Professor Mohammed Mahdi Bukhari, and supervised by the Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research, Professor Khidr ElTayeb. It was attended by the Director of the University's Investment Administration, Ms. Rafia Abdeljabbar, along with a number of academics, researchers, and individuals interested in development and investment issues.

In his address, the University Director emphasized the importance of scientific research in supporting economic development plans and providing scientific insights that contribute to the optimal utilization of the resources available in White Nile State. He highlighted the role universities play in studying challenges and proposing practical solutions that support development and investment efforts.

For his part, the Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research explained that the forum is part of the deanship's regular scientific programs aimed at enhancing dialogue between researchers and decision-makers, highlighting promising investment opportunities in the state, and contributing to sustainable development by linking research outputs with community needs.

Meanwhile, the Director of the University's Investment Administration stressed the importance of creating a favorable investment environment and making use of the economic, agricultural, and industrial potentials enjoyed by White Nile State. She affirmed that investment represents one of the key drivers of economic growth and job creation.

The forum witnessed fruitful scientific discussions on the current state of investment in the region, available opportunities across various sectors, as well as the challenges facing investors and ways to address them. Participants concluded the forum with a number of recommendations aimed at promoting investment and supporting economic development in the state.

It is worth noting that the next forum will be held under the title "Investment Law in White Nile State."
