The rural camp program for students of Nursing Sciences College at University of El Imam El Mahdi organized by the Department of Community Health every year started its first day in the village of Wad Skak, White Nile State on Sunday 9/12/2018.
Mrs. Ebtihaj Mukhtar Mustafa spoked at the opening ceremony on behalf of Dean of college, Dr. Jamalat Jibril, said that this week comes as part of the practical Training program for the fourth year students. She insured the necessity to provide awareness-raising and therapeutic services to the rural community, emphasizing that such programs should be used to aware and educate a large part of them on social issues. By the end of Mrs. Ebtihaj speech, she extended her appreciation to the university administration for their great role in supporting such programs that pour into serving the community in order to achieve its optimum goals in students’ practical trainings and needy people.
The week includes educational seminars, lectures, pregnant women healthcare, circumcision and exhibitions. This week will end its activities on Thursday 13/12/2018 accompanied with a free therapeutic day.
