To achieve excellence and disseminate knowledge in public health, upgrade the academic curriculums, evaluate graduates, partnerships and collaborations with relevant authorities, local and international organizations, create a working environment with quality education and establish specialized laboratories to serve the objectives of the faculty.

Mission

<p style="text-align:justify;">The core mission of the faculty is Health development which is achieved by the following three main concepts:</p> <ul> <li>Manpower development for the rehabilitation of different specialties to work as an integrated team to identify and overcome problems of the health community</li> <li>Conducting applied research in various fields of public health, especially research that requires the participation of different majors.</li> <li>Service and community development through planning, implementation and follow-up of programs that serve the community and interact with the problems of society through developing appropriate solutions.</li> </ul>

Objectives

1. To graduate qualified students in public and environment health.
2. To offer postgraduate studies at master's and doctoral levels in order to provide specialized frameworks in various fields in public health, environment health and related fields.
3. To conduct research, basic scientific studies and applications related to health, environment and disease.
4. To contribute to the development of foundations, plans and standards of public health and environment health related to the community
5. To provide scientific and technical consultancy on the establishment of development projects to assess the environmental impact on health conditions in the community.
6. To rehabilitate the health field cadres in order to maintain professional competence and keep abreast with modern scientific techniques and developments.
7. To spread health awareness to all groups of society and participate in community service to prevent epidemics and disasters.
8. To conduct continuous education programs in all areas of public health, environmental health and preventive medicine.
