Vision:
The department seeks to contribute to the needs of society in all its components, improves in both local and scientific sections, solve the internal and external problems of community and contribute to providing a clear vision of their solution.
Mission:
The department commits to produce qualified scientific and research cadres, adheres to the developed and advanced curriculum and to keep abreast of scientific and technological developments and produce administrative cadres that contribute to the service of community.
Department Objectives
1.Prepare specialized lecturers in history and civilization.
2.The student should be familiar with historical events from the earliest times to this day.
3.The student should know the history of his Islamic Ummah and its past.
4.Linking, analyzing and interpreting historical events through the mediation of history students.
5.To raise the spirit of nationalism of the History’s student.
6.The lecturer must be fully aware of his country's history.
