Vision:
To achieve leadership and excellence in educational framework and to contribute to the promotion of an advanced educational system and the production of a creative and innovative generation of excellence in its scientific, research and social performance at the national and regional levels.
Mission:
To develop the educational frameworks in order to produce a knowledgeable society. Also, to conduct educational research in which its results are reflected in the development of the education system. In addition, to insure that participation in educational policymaking is at all levels. Optimum employment of knowledge, research and technology are in the top of the values and needs of society.

Department Objectives

To prepare graduates who are scientifically and technically qualified in all areas of chemistry in order to contribute to the national development and community service.
To conduct academic and applied scientific research, an annual research plan, and motivate researchers and students to disseminate the results of their research in areas of global high impact.
To contribute to the diffusion of scientific culture through the publication of research and articles in national, regional and international scientific journals and participation in scientific conferences and symposia.
To provide analytical support and scientific advice to the public and private sectors and in all areas of chemistry.
To conduct scientific seminars with the participation of members of the faculty and students in postgraduate studies with a view to spreading scientific awareness among the staff of the department.
To provide academic curricula based on improving and continuous updating of theoretical knowledge of laboratory experience.
To disseminate knowledge in all areas of chemistry and apply it to the service of society.
To develop the skills of teaching staff by encouraging them to participate in national, regional and global conferences and to establish joint scientific cooperation with distinguished global universities.
