The College of Arts and Humanities was established at the University of El-Imam El-Mahdi in the year 1998, where the College of Islamic and Arabic Sciences has developed into Faculties of Arts and sharia and law, College of Arts and Humanities at El-gazeera Aba is one of the branches of El-Imam El- Mahdi University in the White Nile state, which aims to be a beacon of thought and human knowledge, and contribute to the march of progress and prosperity in this generous country, among excellence  at all levels, local, regional and global way. so the faculty works to not just be a carrier of scientific heritage and cultural all but seek to link this heritage with the latest development times and rapid development, by connecting all college programs, the practical reality and create a unique learning environment, based on the latest methods, technical education and community partnership. .
College of Arts and Humanities includes nine sections of Islamic studies and Arabic language, English, history, psychology, libraries and information, geography, philosophy and communication science  .
