Vision:
To achieve leadership and excellence in educational work and to contribute to the promotion of an advanced educational system and build a creative and innovative generation of excellence in its scientific, research and community performance at the national and regional levels.
Mission:
Continuous and distinct education and professional development of the various teachers and educational frameworks to contribute to the improvement of the society of knowledge and the conductance of educational research whose results are reflected in the development of the education system. Participation in educational policymaking at all levels, optimum employment of knowledge, research and technology are in the light of the values and needs of society.
Department Objectives
- To entrench and strengthen faith in Allah by watching what is in this universe of great creation and wondrous fabrication and observing the magnificent precision of natural processes and the discovery of their temptation and their full subordination to Allah Almighty's power.
- To develop the student's inclination to seek Allah’s miracles in his own and in other creatures.
- To develop the student's scientific spirit.
- To inculcate scientific methods in students, such as analyzing information, validating and expressing opinions and assisting in scientific research.
- To support students to gain appropriate mental skills: the distinction between living creatures and their classification.
- To support students to gain practical scientific skills: such as the development of simple and complex manual skills from the use of the microscope, making microscopic preparations, the use of anatomy tools, the anatomy of some creatures and precise drawing skills.
- To help students to learn the scientific achievements of Muslim and Arab scholars.
